    Here are some fully-funded scholarships for African students to study abroad include;

    PwC Bursary – CA Programme 2023:

    PwC is offering a limited number of full-time bursaries to students wishing to study towards a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification in South Africa. The bursary will cover the cost of tuition, textbooks, and prescribed exams up to a maximum value of R120 000 per annum. In addition, PwC will provide a laptop and pay for your membership to SAICA during your studies.

    To be eligible for this bursary, you must:

    • Be a South African citizen or permanent resident with a valid ID document
    • Have completed Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
    • Have achieved excellent academic results with an average of 65% or above
    • Not be in receipt of any other form of funding
    • Be able to demonstrate financial need
    • Be available to start your studies in February 2023.

    Nelson Mandela Rhodes Scholarships:

    The Nelson Mandela Rhodes Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship that enables outstanding young leaders from Africa to study at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. Up to 95 scholarships are awarded each year, with 50 being awarded to students from South Africa.

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • Be a citizen of Africa
    • Be aged between 18 and 28 years
    • Have completed your undergraduate degree
    • Demonstrate leadership potential
    • Not be in receipt of any other form of funding.

    The Nelson Mandela Rhodes Scholarship covers the cost of tuition, living expenses, and travel to and from Oxford. It also provides an additional allowance for books, conference travel, and thesis research.

    African Union Kwame Nkrumah Continental Education Scholarship Programme:

    The African Union Kwame Nkrumah Continental Education Scholarship Programme is a fully-funded scholarship that enables African students to study at universities in Africa. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition, living expenses, and travel to and from the university. It also provides an allowance for books, conference travel, and thesis research.

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • Be a citizen of Africa
    • Be aged between 18 and 28 years
    • Have completed your undergraduate degree
    • Demonstrate financial need
    • Not be in receipt of any other form of funding.

    The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Makerere University is a fully-funded scholarship that enables African students to study at Makerere University in Uganda. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition, living expenses, and travel to and from the university. It also provides an allowance for books, conference travel, and thesis research.

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • Be a citizen of Africa
    • Be aged between 18 and 28 years
    • Have completed your undergraduate degree
    • Demonstrate financial need
    • Not be in receipt of any other form of funding.
